EHSAS is deeply committed to supporting several Self Help Groups (SHGs) and NGOs throughout the Ganga Basin states by facilitating the marketing of their products in Delhi. We have provided crucial warehousing and packaging support to a diverse range of organizations, including HESCO (Uttarakhand), BhartiyaGramotthanSanstha (Rishikesh), JalajAmala (Bhagalpur), JalajAarya (Diamond Harbour, West Bengal), JalajViharini (Gram Khedki, Bijnor), SHG Kaniya (Ramnagar), WISE (Dehradun), JalajAali (Uttarkashi), RangabeliaMahilaIndustrial Cooperative Society (South 24 Parganas, West Bengal), and Eco Roots Foundation, among others.
Our primary objective is to enhance the market reach of products created by women Ganga Volunteers, thereby improving their livelihood opportunities. These dedicated women contribute significantly to the conservation of the Holy River Ganga through their involvement in the National Mission for Clean Ganga.
In addition to our ongoing support for these organizations, EHSAS made a significant impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. We employed a large number of tailors who had lost their jobs due to the lockdown in a mask-making initiative. This effort not only provided much-needed income for these individuals but also addressed the critical shortage of protective face coverings during the pandemic.
